Science of Theistic existentialism Atheistic existentialism Absurdism Nihilism
101 i believe truth and god i believe truth but no god i dont care to believe i believe in nothing
There is such a thing as possible "meaning" or "value"?
(future tense)
Yes Yes Yes No
There is inherent meaning in the universe?
(intrinsic God present tense)
Yes, it is God Maybe, but only by faith Maybe, but you'll never really know because of faith No
Individuals can create meaning in life themselves? Yes, it is essential that they do Yes, it is essential that they do Yes, but not necessary and once again it takes faith No
Shall We pursue the discovery of intrinsic meaning in the universe? (mental) Yes, if god is in the inside Yes, that is where I am Maybe, do whatever you like there is only nothing

coresponds ...

Is there God? ... Yes (theo people) / No (atheo people)

Is there You? ... Yes I am (human) / No I am (noman)

Is there value? ... Yes, if I am human ... and because my concept of God/noGod is dependant on me ... thus the identity of my values dependant on me.

*example ... the glass is my concept of myself ... the water is the value/meaning ... the creator of the orginal water source is not neccessary ... 'god' is used as a description ... by choice ... the glass filled with water simply defines itself as it sees itself ... half full, half empty, empty, or over flowing ... i am what i think i am ... you do not need be the substance creator to be the form creator.

ANYONE TELLING YOU DIFFERENT IS SHAPING YOU ... AS THEY WISH ... INTO THEIR IDEAL FORM

If you do not doubt God, then you can not discover God ... if you do not look, then you can not see! You will just be a machine, not a mind!

Thus, arises the order of questions ... what do i think i am? ... then ... if god is needed, then where is he? Does he resides in my heart or in my mind?

Existentialist philosophers such as Sartre, as well as continental philosophers such as Hegel and Heidegger have all written extensively on the concept of 'Being'. Hegel distinguishes separation between the being of the objects (being in itself) and the being of mind (Geist). Hegel, however, did not think there was much hope for delineating a "meaning" of "being", because being stripped of all predicates "being" is simply the state of "being nothing".

"Man can become an inhabitant of the premeter of his being ... to escape himself and be disassociated from himself".
